Getting Problem Connecting The Netgear Range Extender To iPhone?

Posted on March 11, 2020 by Matthew Fernandez

Once in a while, you may come across a situation when you try to connect the iPhone to your range extender but it keeps on displaying, ‘Can’t connect this time’ or the ‘Login details’ incorrect. If you are getting such error on your iPhone, then go through the steps mentioned in the blog post. Some technical errors may lead to this problem.

Simple fix: Turn off your iPhone and the range extender. If you are using the N300 extender and Netgear WiFi extender not working, then you can contact the support team. To restart the router, press the power button and release it. Wait for 5 seconds and turn it on again. To power off the iPhone, you can press the power button and click on the slider to turn it off.

iPhone connecting to other SSID except one available at home

This problem can be resolved by contacting the technical experts available at the support desk otherwise, you can follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Problem with iPhone and wireless network: When you connect the network to the iPhone, then it stores the network information for future connection. You don’t need to login to the network again and again. If you are using the same Wi-Fi at your office as well, then keep the SSID and password different for both.
  • Restart wireless router and extender: This step has been proven helpful especially in case you are using the N300 extender or if you have done Netgear wifi extender n300 setup at home. Press the power button of your extender or disconnect the power cable from the power source and wait for 2 minutes. Turn on the extender again and try connecting the iPhone again to the network.
  • Delete all the details related to the network from iPhone: If you are still facing problems connecting to the internet from the iPhone, then delete the wireless network details from the iPhone by getting into ‘Settings’. Go to the ‘Reset’ option and perform the factory reset function on your iPhone.

After implementing the above-mentioned steps if you are still getting the problem, then contact the Netgear experts available 24×7.
